Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County Police Department on Thursday, April 30, 2015
**UPDATES**
Abduction | Sexual Assault *ARREST – On April 30th, members of the U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Jorge Alberto COREA-BERRIOS who was wanted for charges related to the abduction and sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 8100 block of Portwood Turn in Manassas on April 11th. The task force arrested the suspect in Hempstead, New York. The accused is being held in New York where he is awaiting extradition.

Abduction | Sexual Assault [previously released] – On April 11th at 12:30AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 8100 block of Portwood Turn in Manassas (20109) to investigate an abduction. The investigation revealed that the suspect forced his way into the victim’s home located in the above area. Once inside the home, the suspect retrieved a kitchen knife and cut another resident of the home during the altercation. The suspect then proceeded to the victim’s bedroom and removed her from the apartment at knifepoint. Both parties left the home on foot. The victim was eventually able to get away from the suspect and contact police. Detectives further learned that during the abduction, the victim was sexually assaulted by the suspect. The victim also reported that she and the suspect were involved in a domestic altercation on April 9th in which the suspect strangled her. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused who has local ties to Manassas and also in New York.
**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On April 29th at 9:19PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Quate Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 7:30PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. A laptop computer, camera, and jewelry were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On April 29th at 4:22PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13700 block of Knowles St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM on April 28th and 3:30PM on April 29th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Prescription medication was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Sexual Assault - On April 29th at 9:09PM, officers responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 14400 block of Bakersfield St in Woodbridge (22193). The complainant reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, sexually assaulted the victim, a 9 year old male juvenile, sometime between April 24th and April 28th. Following the investigation, the accused was located and arrested without incident.

Charged with aggravated sexual battery

Malicious Wounding – On April 30th at 2:24AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 28 year old man of Woodbridge, and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused stabbed the victim in the abdomen with a kitchen knife. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.
