**UPDATES**
Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On April 27th, the suspect involved in the assault which was reported to have occurred in the 15000 block of Greenmount Dr in Woodbridge on April 25th turned herself into police and was arrested without incident.
Arrested on April 27th:
Kerry Lynn JOHNSON, 32, 15529 Wigeon Way in Woodbridge
Charged with 1 count malicious wounding
Court date: June 8th, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On April 25th at 4:38PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Greenmount Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that the accused came to the victim’s residence to confront the victim about an ongoing dispute. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim, a 34 year old woman, down a flight of stairs then began to assault her. The suspect left the area prior to police arriving. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused.
**INCIDENTS**
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On April 27th at 8:59AM, officers responded to IM Solutions located at 3600 Pointe Center Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a vandalism. The complainant reported to police that between 6:00PM on April 24th and 8:50AM on April 27, an exterior window of the business was shattered. Upon investigation, it was determined that the damage was caused by a bullet. A shell casing was found nearby. There were no injuries reported and minor damage to property. There is currently no suspect information.
