Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County VA Police Department on Tuesday, April 21, 2015
**INCIDENTS**
Malicious Wounding – On April 14th at 10:05PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 9800 block of Shallow Creek Lp in Manassas (20109) earlier in the day. The victim, a 34 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a kitchen knife and struck the victim in the arm. Both parties separated and the victim notified police of the incident. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused.

**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding – On April 19th at 12:05AM, officers responded to Brittany’s Restaurant located at 12449 Dillingham Sq in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 35 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was inside the bar area of the establishment when she was approached by the accused and immediately struck in the head with a beer bottle. Both parties were not known to one another and the incident was allegedly unprovoked. Security intervened and police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Alexandra Kala PARSON, 21, of 2493 Paxton St in Woodbridge
Charged with malicious wounding and intoxication in public
Court date: May 21, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
Assault & Battery on a Corrections Officer – On April 18th at 6:45PM, officers responded to the Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate an assault by an inmate on corrections staff. The investigation revealed that the accused was not complying with instructions issued by staff. During the encounter, one of the staff members reached for the arm of the accused. At that point, the accused pulled away and struck the officer in the face with his elbow, damaging the officer’s glasses. A second staff member intervened and a struggle ensued. The accused was eventually detained without further incident and police were notified. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was charged.

Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery on a corrections officer and 1 count of destruction of property
