Armed Robbery | Attempted Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On April 17th, officers located and arrested the accused involved in the armed robbery and attempted malicious wounding which was reported to have occurred in the area of Hillendale Dr and Haddock Rd in Woodbridge on April 12th. The accused was located at an address in the 143400 block of Keating Dr in Woodbridge where he was arrested without incident.
Arrested on April 17th:
Clarence Christopher COLEMAN, 20, of 4505 Kendall Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with robbery, attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Armed Robbery | Attempted Malicious Wounding (Previously Released) – On April 12th at 9:27PM, police responded to the area of Hillendale Dr and Haddock Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a report of shots fired. Officers arrived in the area and located the victim, a 20 year old man of Woodbridge, who reported to police that he was in the area of Harry Dawson Park waiting for a male acquaintance to sell marijuana.  When the man arrived, he displayed a shotgun and demanded the marijuana and the victim’s wallet. The victim handed over the marijuana and then a struggle ensued over the wallet. The victim was eventually able to break free and run away. The male suspect began to chase the victim and, at one point, fired the shotgun towards the victim. No injuries were reported. Detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify the suspect involved in this case as the accused. A search warrant was executed at the suspect’s address on Kendall Dr in Woodbridge, however the accused was not located. The victim was also charged with a drug related offense in regard to this incident. Investigation continues.

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On April 15th at 2:00PM, police responded to the 12800 block of Canova Dr in Manassas (20112) for an assault. The victim, a 40 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated into a scuffle. During the encounter, the accused and the victim fell to the ground. In the process, the victim struck her head on a coffee table causing an injury to her head. The accused continued to assault the victim once on the ground. Officers arrived and detained the accused without further incident. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury. The accused was identified as juvenile.

Falsely Summoning the Police – On April 16th at 11:33PM, police responded to the Manassas Mall located at 8300 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) for a report of a suspicious package. The caller reported to police that he had located an unattended backpack by the Wal-Mart entrance located at the mall. The caller further reported that the bag was unattended for almost an hour. Numerous officers responded to the mall and conducted an extensive search. No device or suspicious bag was located. Officers were able to locate the caller at another part of the mall. During the investigation, officers learned that the caller, identified as the accused, had lied about the package and the information provided to dispatch. Upon searching the accused, a knife and brass knuckles were located. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Ian James GODBOUT, 32, of 12000 Coverstone Hill Cir #242 in Manassas
Charged with falsely summoning the police and possession go a concealed weapon
Court date unavailable, held on a $2,500 secured bond

Narcotics Investigation – On April 16th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation into the selling of marijuana with the execution of a search warrant at 17423 Mine Rd in Dumfries (22025). As a result of the search, marijuana and additional evidence supporting distribution were seized. The following arrest was also made without incident.
Arrested on April 16th:
Keondric Rashun REYNOLDS, 26, of 11 Moss Dr in Stafford
Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to violate the Drug Control Act
Court date set for July 7, 2013, held on a $10,000 secured bond

Narcotics Investigation – On April 16th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation into the selling of marijuana with the execution of a search warrant at 12304 Aztec Pl in Woodbridge (22192). A marijuana grow operation was discovered at this residence by officers after police and fire units responded to an unrelated residential fire at a neighbor’s residence around 3:00PM. The fire spread to the suspect’s residence where officers performed a welfare check and discovered the grow operation.  As a result of the search, marijuana plants and additional evidence supporting distribution were seized.  The following arrest was made without incident.
Arrested on April 16th:
Mark Douglas OUTLAW, 33, of 12304 Aztec Pl in Woodbridge
Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Court date set for June 7, 2013, held on a $7,000 secured bond

Narcotics Investigation – On April 16th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit stopped a vehicle in the area of Occoquan Rd and F St in Woodbridge (22191). The occupants of vehicle were subsequently arrested for marijuana distribution. During the investigation, detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at 1219 Fox Run Pl in Woodbridge. As a result of the search and the investigation, marijuana, an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, and additional evidence supporting distribution were seized.

Melvon Cedric REDFEARN, 22, of 7973 Richmond Hwy in Alexandria
Charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Court date set for June 7, 2013, held WITHOUT bond

Jeffery Lawrence KING, 29, of 1219 Fox Run Pl in Woodbridge
Charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Court date set for June 7, 2013, held on a secured bond of $10,000. 


**INCIDENTS**
Attempted Residential Burglary – On April 16th at 2:05AM, police responded to the 13300 block of Maple Leaf Ln in Woodbridge (22192) for an attempted burglary.  Homeowner reported to police that at 1:35AM she was inside her residence when she heard a loud noise coming from her front door. The homeowner stated that the noise sounded similar to someone kicking the door.  No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.  The homeowner never saw the suspect(s).
