**INCIDENTS**

Shooting Investigation – On April 12th at 2:37AM, officers responded to the 4000 block of Forestdale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 20 year old man, was walking in the area above with three other male acquaintances towards a residence on Filarete St to attend a party advertised on social media.

As the men were walking to the home, they were approached by seven acquaintances in a vehicle. During the encounter, a separate vehicle, described as a light colored gray or silver SUV, pulled up and confronted the group. The altercation escalated when a passenger in the SUV pulled out a handgun and began firing towards them.

At that point, all parties dispersed and the suspect in the SUV pursued. As a result, the 20 year old victim was shot in the lower body. A resident in the area witnessed the encounter and provided aid to the victim while police were contacted. A

s officers were on scene, it was further learned that two 17 year olds, a male and female, who were occupants in the initial vehicle were at an area hospital and had also been shot in the lower body during the same incident. All three victims were treated at area hospitals and are expected to recover from their wounds.

Suspect Description:
Black male, heavy set, with dreadlocks
Last seen wearing a black or dark colored hoodie and green shorts

Abduction | Sexual Assault – On April 11th at 12:30AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 8100 block of Portwood Turn in Manassas (20109) to investigate an abduction. The investigation revealed that the suspect forced his way into the victim’s home located in the above area. Once inside the home, the suspect retrieved a kitchen knife and cut another resident of the home during the altercation.

The suspect then proceeded to the victim’s bedroom and removed her from the apartment at knifepoint. Both parties left the home on foot. The victim was eventually able to get away from the suspect and contact police.

Detectives further learned that during the abduction, the victim was sexually assaulted by the suspect. The victim also reported that she and the suspect were involved in a domestic altercation on April 9th in which the suspect strangled her. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused who has local ties to Manassas and also in New York.

Jorge Alberto COREA-BERRIOS, 34, of no fixed address
Wanted for strangulation, abduction, rape and burglary with intent to commit a felony

Residential Burglary – On April 11th at 8:59PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2700 block of McGuffeys Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The resident reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00PM and 8:59PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made in the residence through a rear window which was found shattered.  Several computers, gaming consoles, jewelry, cell phones, clothing, credit cards and money were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On April 10th at 10:54PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4900 block of Kirwyn Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary.  The resident reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00AM and 1:30PM. The investigation revealed that both the front and rear doors were left unsecured. There were no signs of forced entry.  A firearm, tablet, two purses and clothing were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On April 10th at 8:20PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Misty Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary.  The resident reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 8:15PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a rear basement window which was found damaged.  Jewelry and money were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On April 10th at 11:06AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4500 block of Knoll Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported that she was contacted by her neighbor regarding an unknown man that was seen walking in the backyard of the residence around 10:55AM. When the suspect was confronted by the neighbor, he fled the area. Upon the homeowner’s return, jewelry was found to be missing. Entry is believed to have been made through a rear window which was found open. There were no signs of forced entry.

Black male with a beard, between 19 & 23 years of age, 5’5” with a dark complexion and short hair
Last seen wearing black pants, black hoodie and white shoes with a red stripe on the side

Residential Burglaries – On April 9th at 2:15PM, officers responded to investigate burglaries to four separate homes which were under construction located in the 3000 block of Landing Eagle Ct, 16000 block of Easy Bird Ct, and 3600 block of Eagle Ridge Dr in Woodbridge (22191).  The burglaries were reported to have occurred between 9:00AM on February 2nd and 9:00AM on April 6th. The investigation revealed that entry was made through unsecured doors.  Two sump pumps and two bathroom vanities were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On April 11th at 4:00PM, officers responded to the 1300 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault.  During the investigation, officers determined that the victim, a 33 year old man from Woodbridge, was with the accused, a known acquaintance, when they began to argue.  At one point, the accused produced a knife and cut the victim. The accused fled the area prior to officer’s arrival but was located a short time later.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Rodney Matthew MORGAN, 54, of 1406 Bayside Ave Apt. 11 in Woodbridge

Malicious Wounding – On March 28th at 7:51PM, officers responded to the Novant Health Prince William Medical Center to investigate an assault.  The investigation revealed that the victim, a 22 year old man of Manassas, was with some friends at a residence located in the 10600 block of Rembert Ct in Gainesville (20155), when the victim stepped outside and was assaulted by two known acquaintances. Following the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified both men and obtained warrants for their arrest. While attempting to arrest Stefan GRECEANU on April 10th at his residence, Ionela GRECEANU attempted to stop officers by obstructing the doorway.  Both Ionela GRECEANU and Stefan GRECEANU were taken into custody without further incident. Eduard GAMAN was located and arrested on April 12th without incident.

Ionela GRECEANU, 44, of 14013 Willet Way in Gainesville
Charged with obstructing justice

Strong Armed Robbery – On April 10th at 7:45PM, officers responded to the Inns of Virginia located at 951 Annapolis Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 22 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police he was approached by the accused and two other unknown suspects who demanded money.  As the victim began to walk away after voluntarily giving the accused some money, the accused physically assaulted him. During the assault, the accused took more money from the victim’s pocket while one of the other unknown suspects took the victim’s cell phone and shoes.  Upon further investigation, the accused was located and arrested without incident.  No injuries were reported. Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident to identify the remaining suspects.

Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On April 11th at 12:30AM, the accused assaulted a Prince William County police officer while in custody at the Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110). The accused was arrested previously for an unrelated assault & battery and was being processed at the facility at the time of the incident. The accused was eventually detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was charged.

Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On April 11th at 7:16AM, officers responded to Fire Station 12 located at 2170 Montgomery Ave in Woodbridge (22191) for a disorderly person.  During the encounter, the accused assaulted an officer before attempting to flee. The accused was eventually taken into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was charged.

Jaleel Rakim MOOREHEAD, 21, of 13020 Amesbury St in Woodbridge
Charged with assault and battery on a LEO, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana
