Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County VA Police Department on Friday, March 20, 2015
**UPDATES**
Assault by Mob *ARRESTS – On March 18th, detectives from the Gang Unit were able to identify six male juveniles as suspects in connection to the assault by mob incident which occurred at the Boys & Girls Club located at 5070 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge on March 15th. The investigation revealed that all six suspects claimed to be associates of a local gang and that this altercation was in retaliation for a separate fight which occurred at Potomac Mills Mall on March 7th. The victim in the Boys and Girls Club incident was mistakenly identified by the assailants as being a part of that fight; however, it was determined that he was not involved. The investigation into the identities of the suspects in the Potomac Mills Mall incident is still ongoing.

Assault by Mob [Previously Released] – On March 15th at 12:01AM, officers responded to the Boys & Girls Club located at 5070 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 16 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that he went to the center to attend a party. At one point, the victim was waiting at a table inside the center when he was approached by an unknown male suspect. During the encounter, the suspect asked the victim to come outside with him. Once outside, the victim was surrounded by a group of other male suspects and assaulted. The group of suspects dispersed prior to officers arriving in the area. Minor injuries were reported. The victim was unable to describe the assailants.
Assault by Mob | Destruction of Property [Previously Released] – On March 7th at 8:49PM, officers responded to Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) after receiving reports of a large fight in progress. Officers arrived and determined the fight took place near the mall entrance. As officers assisted mall security with dispersing the large crowd, other smaller fights began to break out in the parking lot and additional officers were requested to control the situation. Two victims, a 17 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge and a 16 year old male juvenile of Triangle, were located suffering from non-life threatening injuries. Both reported that they were assaulted by an unknown group of males when the fight broke out. Neither victim was cooperative with police during their investigation. No suspects could be identified. As a result of the fights in the parking lot, two vehicles were damaged, estimated around $250.
**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On March 19th at 7:57AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5700 block of Rhode Island Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:30AM on March 18th and 7:57AM on March 19th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through a rear window. A laptop, 2 televisions, clothing items and other property were reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Sexual Assault Investigation – On March 17th, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at residence located in the 3300 block of Bradford St in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that the victim, a juvenile female, was sexually assaulted by the accused on at least two occasions sometime in February of 2015. The victim recently disclosed the encounter and police were notified. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested on March 18th.

Charged with aggravated sexual battery and forcible sodomy
