Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County VA Police Department on Wednesday, March 18, 2015
**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On March 17th at 5:28AM, police responded to a residence located in the 9700 block of Upper Mill Lp in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that an unknown suspect had entered the basement area of the home through a rear door. The suspect was observed fleeing the area prior to police arriving at the home. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Miscellaneous property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Attempted Malicious Wounding | Abduction – On March 16th at 9:00PM, officers responded to Vocelli’s Pizza located at 16693 River Ridge Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 30 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was an employee of the business and got into a verbal altercation with his manager, identified as the accused. The argument escalated and during the encounter, the accused pushed the victim against a door and held a knife against his neck. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
Arrested on March 16th:
Joseph DAPRILE, 37, of 14512 Duran Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with attempted malicious wounding and abduction
Court date: May 6, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
Attempted Malicious Wounding – On March 17th at 6:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18100 block of Purvis Dr in Triangle (22192) to investigate a domestic dispute. The victim, a 31 year old man of Triangle, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and placed it against the victim’s neck. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Tiffany Deanne SIMMONS, 27, of the 18100 block of Purvis Dr in Triangle
Charged with attempted malicious wounding
Court date: pending | Bond: held WITHOUT bond
