**INCIDENTS**
Sexual Battery – On March 16th at 10:32AM, officers responded to the 4400 block of Whitmer Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 48 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking up the stairs in her building when she was approached by an unknown man. When the man walked passed the victim, he inappropriately grabbed her. Following the encounter, the man fled from the building on foot. No injuries or other interactions were reported.
Suspect Description:
Hispanic male, between 18 & 20 years of age, 5’6”, 140lbs with a thin build, collar length black hair and braces
Last seen wearing a black jacket, orange shirt and tan pants
Armed Robbery – On March 16th at 10:40PM, officers responded to the 16600 block of Harwood Oaks Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 39 year old man of Mclean, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet with an unknown man in the above area to purchase a cell phone which he was listed for sale on Facebook. During the encounter, the man displayed a handgun and took the victim’s keys and money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Male, unknown race, between 25 & 30 years of age, 6’0”, 145lbs with a thin build, short hair and a mustache
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black stocking cap
Residential Burglary – On March 16th at 6:15PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8200 block of Sunset Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00AM and 5:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear window which was found damaged. A laptop and tablet were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On March 16th at 9:55PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14500 block of Collingham Pl in Gainesville (20155) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that she was in the living room of the home when a figure was observed in the backyard. At point, a loud noise was heard and the homeowner screamed. The potential intruder immediately fled and was not seen. A rear door and window were found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.
