**ARRESTS**
Aggravated Sexual Battery | Abduction with Intent to Defile – On March 13th, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 15000 block of Maine Ct in Woodbridge (22191). The victim, a 12 year old girl of Woodbridge, reported to police that she had just arrived home from school when she encountered the accused. During the encounter, the accused held her hands behind her back and forced her to a bedroom area where he sexually assaulted her. The accused rents a room within the residence and is known to the victim. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Charged with aggravated sexual battery and abduction with intent to defile
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond
Selling of Firearms to Prohibited Persons – On March 13th, the Prince William County Police Street Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Virginia State Police and Fairfax County Police, concluded an investigation into a suspect, identified as the accused, who was selling firearms to a convicted felon. Over the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the accused was selling firearms to persons not able to possess them. As a result of the investigation, the following arrest was made without incident.

John Paul BRAWLEY III, 24, of 14041 Big Crest Ln #205 in Woodbridge
Charged with 2 counts of selling firearms to prohibited persons
Court date set for May 12, 2013, released on a $10,000 unsecured bond
**INCIDENTS**
Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery | Residential Burglary – On March 13th at 10:40PM, police responded to the 13600 block of Langtree Ln in Woodbridge (22193) for a domestic. The victim, a 31 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, came to her residence and kicked open the front door. Once inside the residence, the accused chased the victim to a bedroom. A physical altercation ensued and, at one point, the accused began to choke and further assault the victim. The victim was able to contact police and the accused fled on foot. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a black male, 5’5”, 145lbs, thin build with brown eyes
Wanted for strangulation, domestic assault & battery, burglary, and an unrelated charge of violation of a protective order
Residential Burglary – On March 13th at 2:49PM, police responded to the 2900 block of Pheasant Ln in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:30AM and 1:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked basement door. A gaming console with related games, valued around $650, was reported missing.
