**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On March 11th at 11:52AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary in progress. The resident of the apartment reported to police that he was in his living room when he heard a knock at the door. After several knocks a man forcibly kicked the door open and entered the apartment. Once inside, the resident recognized the man as a known acquaintance. The suspect searched the apartment for a mutual acquaintance before leaving. No property was taken. This incident was not random.

**ARRESTS**

Strong Armed Robbery – On March 11th at 6:09PM, officers responded to the 2000 block of Jennings St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation inside a vehicle parked in the above area. The altercation escalated and during the encounter, both parties exited the vehicle where the accused proceeded to assault the victim, knocking her to the ground. Once on the ground, the accused forcibly took the victim’s cell phone before leaving the area. Minor injuries were reported. Officers eventually located the accused at his residence where he was arrested without incident.

Mathew Lee BARBER, 24, of 2193 Mackenzie Pl in Woodbridge
Charged with robbery
