Prescription drug take-back day April 30 at three local hospitals
Manassas City Police and Prince William County Police will participate in 11th National DEA Prescription Drug Take-Back Initiative on April 30 at hospitals in Manassas, Lake Ridge and Haymarket, VA.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Take-Back events help prevent pill abuse and theft by giving residents an opportunity to rid their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
Here are the three local drop-off locations within the City of Manassas and Prince William County:
• Novant Health Prince William Medical Center (8700 Sudley Rd, Manassas) – Hylton Family, Women’s, and Children’s Center Entrance
• Sentara Lake Ridge (12825 Minnieville Rd, Lake Ridge, Va. 22192)
• Novant Health Haymarket Medical Center (15225 Heathcote Blvd, Haymarket, Va. 20169).
