UPDATE #2: Evacuation remains precautionary due to an unconfirmed phone threat—all are safe and in the process of being transported to Masteller Middle School, where lunch will be provided.
There is no need for parents to pick up students—emergency plans assure their safety and comfort.
To ensure orderly transportation, students will NOT be released to parents from Glenkirk. Those insisting on picking up students should go to Masteller Middle School. This will ensure a safe orderly process for everyone. All students are safe and fully supervised. Further updates to come.

Glenkirk Elementary School students are being transported to Marsteller Middle School as a precaution due to the cold temperatures while police continue their investigation of an unconfirmed phone threat at Glenkirk Elementary. Lunch will be provided.
Avoid calling or visiting the schools so as not to inadvertently interfere with response crews.
All are safe. We will continue to update the community.
Glenkirk Elementary School in Gainesville was evacuated as a precaution due to an unconfirmed phone threat.
