Potomac High School juvenile, 15, charged with threats to school property
School Threat Investigation – On Tuesday, Dec. 10, the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Potomac High Schoo, 3401 Panther Pride Dr in Dumfries (22026), obtained a detention order in connection to a school threat reported on Dec. 8. The investigation revealed the threat was found on Instagram and reported anonymously via a tip. Officers determined there was no credible threat to the school or the safety of students and staff. Following the investigation, the student, a 15-year-old male juvenile, was charged.
