Police seek leads in Saturday morning bank robbery in Woodbridge

The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in providing information about a robbery which occurred at the Burke and Herbert Bank located in the Woodbridge area of Prince William County.

On February 23 at 9:56 a.m., police responded to the Burke and Herbert Bank located at 14008 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a robbery.

Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the bank and approached the counter. Once there, the man passed the teller a note demanding money. The man took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing area, possibly in a vehicle. No weapon was seen and no injuries were reported.

White male, 5’7”, 160-170lbs, medium build with a tear drop tattoo by his left eye
Last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, white (turtleneck) shirt, and jeans

Vehicle Lookout:
A black, 2dr sports-type vehicle similar to a Toyota Celica
