Police report masked man removed prescription medicines from Dumfries pharmacy

Strong-Armed Robbery – On April 30 at 10:02AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Rite Aid located at 18039 Dumfries Shopping Plaza in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery, according to Off. Nathan Probus, police department spokesman.

Probus said the investigation revealed that an unknown black male wearing a mask and all black clothing jumped over the pharmacy counter then demanded prescription medications from the employees. The suspect took several bottles of medications before fleeing the business through a rear door. No injuries were reported. 

A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located.

A light skinned black male, between 5’07”-5’10”
Last seen wearing a black mask, dark hoodie, dark pants, and dark shoes
