Police kept busy answering calls over weekend

INCIDENTS
• Shooting into a Residential Dwelling –
On September 10, 2026 at 12:47AM, officers responded to the 17300 block of Pacific Rim Ter. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed gunshots were heard in the above area before a dark colored sedan was seen quickly driving away. While checking the area, officers located a home that was struck by gunfire and shell casings in the roadway. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

• Armed Robbery – On September 9, 2025 at 7:02PM, officers responded to the Walmart located at 17041 Richmond Hwy. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed store security confronted a woman who was concealing items. During the encounter, the woman retrieved a knife and lunged towards the employee who was able to avoid being cut. The suspect then left the store with the unpaid items and an unknown man. Both suspects got into a grey Nissan SUV which appeared to be driven by a third suspect. No injuries were reported. A knife and a watch were reported missing.

• Possession of Weapons on Colgan High School Grounds – On September 8, 2023 at 9:26 PM, officers on security detail for the football game at Colgan High School located at 13833 Dumfries Rd. Manassas (20112) were notified of a group of individuals who were in possession of a firearm. The investigation revealed school security were speaking to four individuals when an object, believed to be a weapon, was observed being exchanged within the group. Prior to the officers arriving, the group dispersed and fled on foot. Officers located three of the four individuals outside of the stadium where they were detained without incident. While checking the area, officers were informed one of the individuals had dropped something near a storm drain outside of the stadium where officers located two firearms, one of which had been previously reported stolen. No shots were fired, and the weapons are not believed to have been brandished at any point. The individuals previously detained were identified as two 18-year-old men, and one 19-year-old man, all current or former graduates of the school system. No charges have been placed at this time. The investigation continues.

•Reckless Handling of a Firearm in Dale City – On September 10, 2023 at 4:13AM, 2023 officers responded to the 4900 block of Kirkdale Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed a two-vehicle crash occurred near the above area where the driver of one of the vehicles attempted to confront the occupants of the other vehicle. During the encounter, an unknown man approached the group and retrieved a firearm which he then fired into the air. All parties involved in the incident dispersed prior to police arriving on scene. No injuries or property damage were reported, and no suspect description was provided to police.
Attempted Abduction | Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 10 at 3:25AM, officers responded to the 9500 block of Clematis St. in Manassas (20110) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed a group of unknown individuals were attempting to make entry into the residence when the homeowner, a 21-year-old woman, and the arrived. A verbal altercation ensued before the individuals began to strike the homeowner. At one point during the encounter, the group attempted to drag the homeowner to their vehicle. The homeowner was eventually able to separate herself and ran into the residence. The suspects fled the area prior to police arriving on scene. The victim reported minor injuries. The incident is believed to have stemmed from an altercation that had occurred during at a get-together at another location. The suspects were described as one white female and three Hispanic males.

Commercial Burglary – On September 8, 2023 at 8:27AM, officers responded to the Sunoco located at 17013 Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a burglary. Video surveillance revealed at approximately 5:00AM, an unknown man forced entry into the business through the glass front door which was found shattered. The suspect took two sets of keys before leaving the business. Further investigation revealed the vehicles associated with both sets of keys were also reported missing. The suspect was described as a black male wearing dark-colored clothing and a red bucket-style hat.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 9 at 1:46AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10600 block of Viewmont Ln. in Manassas (20112) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed the homeowner woke to a loud noise. Upon checking security cameras, two unknown men were observed attempting to gain entry into the garage. The homeowner confronted the men who quickly fled in a dark grey Infiniti four door sedan. While investigating the incident, officers determined no entry was made into the garage or the home and no damage was reported.
Suspect Descriptions:
Both suspects were described as approximately 6’0’, with skinny builds
Last seen wearing dark-colored shirts, jeans, and a t-shirt wrapped around their faces

Arrests
Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 10 at 6:17PM, officers responded to the area of Sudley Rd. near Lomond Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a two-vehicle crash. An off-duty Manassas Park police officer stopped to assist shortly after the crash and determined the female driver of one of the vehicles, identified as the accused, was intoxicated. Prince William County officers arrived on scene shortly after and observed the accused strike the off-duty Manassas Park officer before fleeing on foot. Officers quickly detained the accused who continued to actively resist. The accused was eventually secured and escorted to a police vehicle. During the investigation, officers determined the accused was driving on Sudley Rd. when she failed to stop and struck the vehicle in front of her that was stopped at a traffic light. Further investigation revealed the accused was driving without a valid license and was intoxicated. No injuries were reported. While processing the accused at the Adult Detention Center, she spat on the floor multiple times. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Alisson Lorena ANGELES-RAMIREZ, was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 9 at 4:53PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15500 block of Mellon Ct. in Haymarket (20169) to assist with a person in crisis. During the investigation, officers were inside the home with the man, later identified as the accused, when he grabbed and shoved an officer. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Matthew David GOLDER, was arrested.

Arrests, continued
Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 1 at 7:21PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11600 block of Smithfield Rd. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a recovered stolen vehicle. The investigation revealed the owner of the vehicle observed the vehicle in the area of Brentsville Rd. and Lucasville Rd. and contacted the police. The vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence on Smithfield Rd. where three male occupants were seen going into the home. Officers arrived and detained the occupants, who were determined to be juveniles. While investigating the incident, officers determined one of the male juveniles, identified as the accused, was in possession of a stolen firearm with suspected marijuana and illegal narcotics. The investigation into the stolen vehicle revealed on August 26, a food delivery order was called to a residence in the 10200 block of Mayapple Ct. in Bristow. When the delivery driver attempted to deliver the food, he observed an unknown individual get into his running vehicle and drive away. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 17-year-old male juvenile, was arrested. While taking the accused into custody, he spat on officers on more than one occasion.

Arrests, continued
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On September 8 at 7:09PM, officers responded to the 15600 block of Andover Heights Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed residents of a home were alerted to a loud noise. Upon checking their home, the rear sliding glass door was found shattered and a bullet fragment was located on the floor. While investigating the incident, officers located the man who fired the round and detained him without incident. Officers determined the man, identified as the accused, was cleaning his firearm when a round was discharged. The round went through a gun case before traveling through the wall of the home and into the rear glass door of a neighboring residence. No injuries or additional property damage were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Andre D. MADRY, was arrested.
