**INCIDENTS**
Sexual Assault Investigation – On August 13, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit began to investigate a sexual assault that occurred at a residence located in the 7900 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109). The investigation revealed that the accused, an acquaintance, sexually assaulted the victim, an 8-year-old boy at the time, between October 2014 and July 2016. The victim recently disclosed the assaults to a family member who contacted police. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Nelson ROMERO-QUIJADA. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a white male, 5’06”, 200lbs, with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for sodomy and crimes against nature
Residential Burglary – On September 10 at 1:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14000 block of Golden Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime between 3:30PM on September 7 and 9:00AM on September 10. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Two circular saws, a weed eater, and a portable radio were reported missing.
Residential Burglary | Violation of a Protective Order – On September 10 at 1:04PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11900 block of Waterton Lake Ln in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the accused, identified as Steven Edward PACE, entered the residence of the victim, a 40-year-old woman, without permission. Further investigation determined that the accused has been violating an active preliminary protective order, which was obtained against him by the victim, by visiting the residence numerous times, leaving dead and live flowers, scaling the fence into the backyard, and leaving notes on the victim’s vehicle. Officers also determined that they had previously encountered the accused on a separate alarm call at the residence earlier that day at which time the accused provided a false identity to officers. Following the investigation, officers obtained multiple arrest warrants for the accused. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Charged with 6 counts of violation of an emergency protective order, 1 count of burglary, 1 count of stalking, and 1 count of giving false identity to a law-enforcement officer
