Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County Police on: Monday, December 8, 2014

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On December 7th at 2:13PM, officers responded to the Best Western located at 14619 Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the lobby and approached the counter. The man implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the hotel on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 28 & 38 years of age, 5’10”, 180lbs with a medium build, dark complexion, short black hair, brown eyes and a goatee
Last seen wearing a gray long sleeve shirt and jeans

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 5th at 8:10PM, officers responded to the 4200 block of Divided Sky Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 16 year old male juvenile of Dumfries, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet with an unknown man in the above area to conduct a drug transaction. Once there, the victim encountered two men who then assaulted and robbed the victim of marijuana and a cell phone. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.

Black male, unknown age, 5’7”, 140lbs with a medium build
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans and a ski mask

Black male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 5’7”, 180lbs with a heavy build
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark colored jeans

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 5th at 5:45PM, officers responded to Woodbridge High School located at 3001 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 15 year old female juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking across school property when she was approached by an unknown male juvenile accompanied by two other female juveniles. During the encounter, the male suspect grabbed the victim’s phone and fled on foot with the other juveniles. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 15 & 16 years of age, 5’10”, 150lbs with a thin build, medium complexion, a 2” black afro and brown eyes
Last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt and blue jeans

Residential Burglary – On December 6th at 4:17PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of California St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30PM on December 5th and 3:15PM on December 6th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a bedroom window after a window air conditioning unit was pushed in. Multiple watches and money were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 6th at 3:06PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8600 block of Placid Lake Ct in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on December 5th and 2:30PM on December 6th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a lower level window which was forced open. A handgun, jewelry and money were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 6th at 10:23PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14800 block of Emberdale Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she was asleep and woke to her alarm sounding. Upon checking the residence, the homeowner located a rear door which appeared to have been forced open. No property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect(s).

*UPDATES**

Strong Armed Robbery *ARREST – On December 5th, the suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 14400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on November 24th turned himself into police without incident after seeing his information posted on the police department’s Facebook page. 
Arrested on December 5th:
David Nissan HUERTA, 18, of no fixed address
Charged with robbery
Court date: January 26, 2015 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

Strong Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On November 24th at 1:22PM, officers responded to the 14400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 43 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he walking through the Prince William Plz when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect grabbed the victim’s cell phone from his hands and fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. On December 2nd, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified the suspect involved in this robbery. Following the investigation, detectives obtained a warrant for the suspect’s arrest.
