Incidents
• Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 at 8:45AM, officers responded to investigate a destruction of property that was reported to have occurred in the area of Airman Ave. and Harry J. Parrish Blvd. in Manassas (20110) sometime between 6:00PM on December 16 and 6:45AM on December 17. The investigation revealed that at some point during the above timeframe gunshots were fired striking two portable toilets that were in the area. Shell casings were also located in the area. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.
• Shooting Investigation – On Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 at 3:14AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the apartments known as Broadstone at River Oaks located in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed a black sedan quickly leaving the area before a 28-year-old man exited an apartment building suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided first aid to the man until rescue personnel arrived at the location and transported him to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer, said the initial investigation determined that the man was present in the apartment building during the shooting. The man was not cooperative with officers during the investigation. An apartment was found to have sustained damage consistent with being struck by projectiles. No additional injuries were reported. The investigation continues as detectives attempt to determine what events lead up to the shooting.
• Armed Robbery—On Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at 8:49PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 2800 block of PS Business Center Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery that occurred earlier that evening.
The victim, an 18-year-old man, reported to police that he was riding in a Toyota SUV with a group of acquaintances, two males and one female, when they drove to the above area and parked. While there, the two males forced the victim out of the vehicle and made him lay on the ground while implying they had a firearm. The males then took the victim’s phone and money before all of the acquaintances fled in the vehicle. The victim eventually contacted the police. No injuries were reported. The only suspect description provided was two Hispanic teenaged males and one unknown race female.
• Commercial Burglary – On Sunday, Dec. 19, 201 at 11:20AM, officers responded to Stronghold Supply located at 12189 Balls Ford Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. An employee of the business reported to police that upon arrival they observed the front glass door shattered. Video surveillance footage revealed that at approximately 2:49AM, an unknown individual threw a large rock through the front glass door before entering the business. The suspect is then observed near the cash register before leaving the area on foot. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

An individual with a thin build, approximately 5’8”, and 150lbs. Last seen wearing all dark-colored clothing
• Commercial Burglary – On Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at 5:16AM, officers responded to Prince William Ice Center located at 5180 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a rear door which was found damaged. Video surveillance footage revealed an unknown individual entered the building, walked to the registration desk, and took the cash register before leaving the business. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located.

An unknown race male, with a tall and thin build
Last seen wearing a light colored knit cap, a dark colored face mask, and all dark colored clothing
• Residential Burglary – On December 17 at 4:29PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Lynn St. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. Residents of the home reported the burglary occurred sometime between 3:00PM and 3:30PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. An undisclosed amount of money, jewelry, Beats wireless headphones, purses, and a wallet were reported missing.
• Residential Burglary – On Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 at 10:55AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 2200 block of Turnbuckle Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that entry was made into the attached garage sometime between 5:50PM and 6:10PM on Dec. 16, through the opened garage door. The investigation revealed that two unknown individuals entered the garage and took power tools, a Harbor Freight generator, and lawn equipment before fleeing on foot. No entry was made into the home.
Suspect Descriptions:
* A Hispanic male between 16-23 years of age
Last seen wearing a black mask, a white t-shirt with a graphic logo on the front, black sweat pants, white crew socks, and black/white shoes
* A black male between 16-23 years of age
Last seen wearing a surgical-style mask and a black hooded sweatshirt with a large logo on the front
Arrests
• Strangulation | Domestic Related – On Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 at 8:18AM, officers responded to investigate a domestic that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 1500 block of Walnut St. in Woodbridge (22191) at approximately 11:00PM on December 16. The investigation revealed that the accused entered the above residence through the kitchen window which was found tampered with. While inside, the accused entered the bedroom of the victim, a 28-year-old acquaintance, where a verbal altercation escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s throat before a family member intervened. The accused eventually fled the residence through the front door. The victim reported minor injuries from the incident. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused,
identified as Cristian Stevi CARBALLO, who turned himself in to police later that evening.
