Police investigate attempted malicious wounding in Woodbridge

Attempted Malicious Wounding – On August 23 at 1:20AM, officers responded to Walmart located at 14000 Worth Ave in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that two victims, identified as an 18-year-old male and a 14-year-old male, were shopping in the store when they were approached by two unknown males. During the encounter, the suspects assaulted them causing several lacerations on the victims. The parties eventually separated, and the suspects fled the store on foot. Officers searched the area for the suspects who were not located. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Suspect 1 is described as a black male with a light complexion, 5’10”-6’00”, with a thin build, brown eyes, and black dreadlocks.
      Suspect 2 is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 5’00”, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes. Last seen wearing blue jeans, a black polo, and a beanie.
