Police investigate attempted home burglary reported early Sunday morning, May 24

Attempted Residential Burglary – On Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 8:34AM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 17500 area of Cajun Ct. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate an attempted burglary, according to MPO Renee Carr, police department representative.

The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 6:00PM on May 23 and 7:30AM on May 24, entry was attempted into the home through a rear window which was found tampered with. No entry appears to have been made into the home and no property was reported missing, Ofc. Carr said.
