County police investigate burglary, make arrest in indecent exposure incident

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On October 16th at 9:28PM, police responded to a residence located in the 7400 block of Parish Ln in Manassas (20110) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM and 8:00PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through an unsecured rear door. An undisclosed amount of US Currency was reported missing

**ARRESTS**

Indecent Exposure – On October 15th at 11:00AM, police responded to Locust Shade Park, located at 4107 Locust Shade Drive in Triangle (22172) to investigate the report of an indecent exposure. The victim, a 51 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that an unknown man, later identified as the accused, exposed himself while seated on a picnic table located inside the park.  Officers made contact with the accused when they arrived. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Richard Thomas GIBBONS, 66, of 40 Christopher Way in Stafford
Charged with indecent exposure
