Police find 2-year-old boy outside Woodbridge apartments without parental supervision
Felony Child Neglect – On August 19 at 9:50AM, Prince William County police officers were in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Woodbridge (22191) on an unrelated call for service when they located a 2-year old boy outside without parental supervision, according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman.
Perok said officers were unable to obtain information from the child regarding his residence and other identifiable information.
The investigation revealed that the accused, a family member, left the 2-year old boy alone inside the residence without proper supervision. Officers checked the child’s home and found the residence in disarray, he added.
The child was uninjured and released into the custody of another family member. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Michael Anthony MARTINEZ, was arrested.

Charged with 1 count of felony child neglect
