Incidents and arrests released by Prince William County Va. police department on Thursday, January 15, 2015
**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding | Burglary while Armed – On January 13th at 1:38AM, officers responded to the 8100 block of Peakwood Ct in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the accused, identified as Brianna O’TOOLE, was attending a gathering at an apartment in the above area with another female acquaintance when both were asked to leave by the resident for causing problems. Both females left and returned a few hours later with several other male suspects. The accused and the group forcibly entered the apartment and assaulted two of the occupants, identified as a 17 year old male juvenile of Manassas Park and a 21 year old woman of Manassas, with a blunt metal rod. Non-life threatening injuries were reported. The group dispersed prior to officers arriving at the apartment. Detectives have since located and arrested the accused, in addition, to two of the suspects involved in the incident. The investigation continues.

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On January 15th at 1:35AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 2700 block of Green Ask Lp in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 49 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and, at one point, began to choke her. Another occupant of the home, identified as a 16 year old female juvenile, attempted to intervene and was also assaulted by the accused. The accused left prior to police arriving at the residence. The accused was eventually located at his home on Gordon Blvd by police and was taken into custody without further incident. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Charged with 1 count of strangulation and 2 counts of domestic assault & battery

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Assault & Battery – On January 14th at 9:46AM, officers responded to a residence in the 8000 block of Ashland Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and, at one point, retrieved a kitchen knife and attempted to stab her. The victim was able to lock herself in a bathroom until police arrived. Officers arrived at the residence and detained the accused without further incident. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

**INCIDENTS**
Indecent Exposure – On January 13th at 12:01PM, an indecent exposure incident was reported to police via the telephone reporting system. The incident was reported to have occurred in the 3400 block of Vale Ct in Woodbridge (22192) between 9:00AM and 9:05AM that morning .The victim, a 55 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was about to get into her vehicle when she observed an unknown man. During the encounter, the victim reported that the man exposed himself towards her and made an inappropriate gesture. The victim got into her vehicle and left the area, reporting the incident later that afternoon. No physical contact was made and the suspect never spoke to the victim.

Black male, between 30 & 35 years of age with a thin build – no further description
