Police continue investigation after another burglary report in same Manassas area

Residential Burglary – On October 19 at 7:03PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Den Hollow Ct in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that his garage had been rummaged through sometime overnight. No property was reported missing. The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect(s) entered the homeowner’s unlocked vehicle in the driveway and used the garage door remote to access the garage. It is believed that this incident is connected to a string of larceny from auto and a burglary that occurred in the area of Bradford Ln during the same period. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On October 19 at 5:41AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Bradford Ln in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary in progress. The investigation revealed that the homeowner was awakened by the family dog barking. When the homeowner checked the residence, an unknown suspect was seen inside the garage before fleeing on foot. It was later determined that the suspect entered an unlocked vehicle in the driveway and used the garage door remote to access the garage. The suspect then stole a neighbor’s 2017 Acura ILX, which was seen driving away followed by a white Ford pick-up that had been circling the area. As officers were responding, both vehicles were observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Hoadly Rd. The Ford pick-up truck was later found abandoned in a ditch on Hoadly Rd and determined to be stolen from Hagerstown, MD. Officers canvassed the area of Bradford Ln and determined that several additional unlocked vehicles in the neighborhood had been entered and rummaged through. The investigation continues.

Unknown gender or race, between 5’05”-6’01”, wearing all black clothing

2017, white Acura ILX with VA tags: UYE2202
