Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On October 20 at 5:02PM, officers responded to the Hampton Inn located at 16959 Old Stage Rd. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a shots fired call. The caller reported hearing a gunshot while inside the hotel.
The investigation revealed that an unknown man was alone inside an interior elevator when a gunshot was heard by hotel staff. The video surveillance footage showed the man quickly leave the elevator after the shot was heard before getting into a light-colored SUV and leaving the area. No injuries were reported. The elevator was found to have damage consistent with being struck by a projectile.
Suspect Description:
A black male, 5”6”, about 175lbs., approximately 40 years of age, with short black hair. Last seen wearing a multi-colored jacket, dark pants, and white shoes
Commercial Burglary – On October 22 at 4:25AM, officers responded to F & J Small Engine Repair located at 10411 Balls Ford Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an alarm activation. Upon arrival, officers observed the front glass door was damaged. Officers and a police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. Lawn equipment was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 22 at 2:58AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Endsley Turn in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 6:54PM on Oct. 21 and 12:00AM on Oct. 22. The investigation revealed that two men entered the home through the front window which was found damaged. Shoes, dog food, and firearms were reported missing. There is no suspect description at this time.
Residential Burglary – On Oct.16 at 7:24PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13300 block of Marie Dr. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the home’s video surveillance footage showed an unknown man enter the unsecured garage at approximately 7:05PM. Carpentry tools were reported missing. At no time did the suspect enter the main residence.
