Police charge male juvenile, 16, with destruction relating to swastica symbols found at high school

Suspicious Incident *ARREST – On March 2, the suspect sought in connection to the graffiti that was reported to have occurred at Forest Park High School, located at 15721 Forest Park Dr. in Woodbridge (22193), on February 26 was identified.

The School Resource Officer (SRO), aided by School Security Staff, identified the student who was observed on video surveillance entering four restrooms where graffiti was written between Feb. 26 and 27. Following the investigation, the SRO charged the suspect, identified as a 16-year-old male juvenile.

The case will be handled through juvenile court services.

Suspicious Incident [Previously Released]– On Feb. 26 at 12:35PM, the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Forest Park High School located at 15721 Forest Park Dr. in Woodbridge (22193), received information about suspicious graffiti that was reported to have occurred earlier in the day. School staff reported to police that swastika symbols were found drawn in one of the men’s restrooms. No specific threat was made, and the drawings were removed without causing permanent damage. The investigation continues.
