Police arrest four persons over Thanksgiving weekend

Malicious Wounding – On December 2 at 4:08AM, officers responded to the Best Western located at 14619 Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight. The victim, a 24-year-old woman, reported to police that an acquaintance, identified as the accused, confronted her at the hotel. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a glass bottle and struck the victim in the head numerous times. The victim was transported to an area hospital with severe lacerations. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Alexis Rachelle JONES, was arrested.

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On November 30 at 11:36PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1700 block of Powder Horn Terr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 30-year-old man, reported to police that he and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a paver stone and broke it over the victim’s head. The victim was transported to an area hospital with a severe laceration. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Vincent Dean CROWTHER, was arrested.

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On November 30 at 10:54PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 11200 block of Golden Leaf Cir in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 28-year-old man, reported to police that he and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and cut the victim multiple times. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Ashley Nicole DUNGAN, was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Corrections Officer – On November 28 at 5:42PM, officers responded to the Prince William-Manassas Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate an assault on a staff member. The investigation revealed that an inmate of the facility, identified as the accused, struck a correctional officer multiple times to the face. Additional officers assisted in detaining the accused. The correctional officer was treated an area hospital. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Isaiah Lee RIDDLE, was charged.
