Pedestrian from NY struck by vehicle in Town of Haymarket

Pedestrian / Vehicle Crash. On Monday April 27, 2015 at 9:45 AM, Haymarket PD officers responded to a pedestrian crash in the 15200 block of Washington Street.
The investigation determined a 55 year old male pedestrian from West Hempstead, New York attempted to cross the street, not in a crosswalk, and was struck by a vehicle being driven by a 30 year old Haymarket-area resident.
The pedestrian sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and he was transported by ambulance to Haymarket Medical Center.
The driver remained on the scene. No charges were filed in the matter.
