Passsenger injured in Liberia Ave. accident

Larceny
On Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at 7:51 p.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 8900 block of Wood Drift Cir, for a report of a larceny. The victim reported that several items were removed from her vehicle.  The investigation is ongoing.

Single Vehicle Hit and Run (Injuries)
On Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at 10:59 p.m. officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 9100 block of Centreville Rd for a report of a hit and run. Through investigation, it was determined the driver crashed into the guard rail on the Liberia overpass, damaging the guard rail, as well as a city-owned light pole. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to a local area hospital for superficial wounds sustained during the accident. The driver fled the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.

Hit and Run
On Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at 4:34 p.m. officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 9100 block of Centreville Rd. for a report of a hit and run. The victim reported he was in his vehicle near the intersection of Sudley Road and Centreville Road when he was struck by another vehicle. The suspect vehicle, Nissan Altima with significant rear end damage, left the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.
