Ouch! Accused woman allegedly strikes man on head with a mirror

**ARRESTS**

Strangulation – On September 18 at 10:35PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2700 block of Bixby Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 21-year-old woman of Woodbridge, and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the throat and began to choke her. The parties eventually separated and the police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On September 18 at 6:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14200 block of Bowman Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 20-year-old man of Woodbridge was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, an acquaintance, which escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim on the head with a mirror. The suspect then assaulted another male acquaintance of the victim and a struggle ensued.  The parties eventually separated and the police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.
