Open house Feb. 21 at Serve Our Willing Warriors (SOWW) retreat
Serve Our Willing Warriors (SOWW) is holding a Bull Run Warrior Retreat Open House, Sunday, Feb. 21, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. that is open to the general public.
SOWW purchased 37 acres of land with an 11,000 square foot home on Waterfall Road in Haymarket as the site for the Retreat. While the home is very spacious, it required extensive renovation. Built in the 1970s, it was not handicap-accessible and was in need of updating. Thanks to generous donations from local businesses and individuals, SOWW has made tremendous progress on the Retreat, which will open later this year.
The Retreat’s address is 16013 Waterfall Rd, Haymarket.
Serve Our Willing Warriors’ mission is “To provide a peaceful retreat, encouragement and support to our willing warriors and their families during their recovery process.”
