Only regular household trash at Saturday collection sites
Until further notice, Prince William County residents may only drop off regular household trash at the Nokesville School and Evergreen Fire Station Saturday collection sites, according to a notice from the county’s Solid Waste Division.
Recyclables should be taken to the most convenient recycling trailer location. As a reminder, no medical waste, household hazardous waste, bulky items or appliances will be accepted at the Saturday Collections sites.
Trash must be bagged and securely tied. Please remember to cover any loads of trash carried in a pickup truck to prevent littering along the roadways.
Service provider does not have adequate staffing to meet its full contract requirements, at this time, the note said.
