Oct. 15 presentation on human trafficking in local area
NOVA Human Trafficking Task Force and the Manassas Police Department are sponsoring an awareness workshop on human trafficking in our area for the general public on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, at 9444 Taney Road in Manassas.
There will be a short presentation followed by a question and answer session. It will seek to answer such questions as who are the victims?, where is human trafficking occurring here?, and what can be done to help?.
