NOVEC’s president/CEO Stan Feuerberg to retire April 1

The Board of Directors of Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) announced Feb. 7 that Stan C. Feuerberg will retire as president and CEO, effective April 1, 2022.

David E. Schleicher was named chief operating officer, effective Feb. 1, 2022. Schleicher will become NOVEC’s president and CEO upon Feuerberg’s retirement.

Wade House, chairman of NOVEC’s Board of Directors, was quoted as saying in a news release, “The Board offers its sincerest thanks to Stan for his 30 years of dedicated service. Under his leadership, NOVEC has grown into one of the preeminent electric utilities in the country.”
