Nokesville Civic Association to host candidate forum, go cart discussion

Nokesville Civic Association will discuss a proposed Go Kart Speedway and host a Candidate Forum on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 pm at the Nokesville Firehall at 12826 Marsteller Drive, Nokesville, VA.

“There are numerous recent issues that will have community-wide impact and we want you to have the latest information. Any and all citizens are welcome. You don’t need NCA membership to come!,” said Patti McKay, NCA treasurer in a news release.

Items to be discussed include:

1.  Information & questions on a pending proposal for a go-kart speed track in Nokesville

2. Congressional and PWC Supervisor candidate forum for the upcoming elections. Candidates will give a brief statement followed by a Q&A session from the audience.

3. Update from VDOT and PWC Transportation Department on local road projects.

4. Update from Ron Burgess, Brentsville District Planning Commissioner on various projects & upcoming votes by Board of County Supervisors.
