Prince William County announced announced at 5:40 p.m. on Friday, July 31, that trash and recycling collection staff at the Nokesville and Evergreen sites will no longer remove material from customers’ vehicles.
Customers will be responsible for removing material from their own vehicles and taking it to the trucks. Residents should “come prepared to use this program on a self-serve basis,” according to a county news release.
The change is “due ongoing COVID-19 challenges,” the news release stated.
