No injuries in crash landing at Manassas Airport

At 9:28 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, a single engine Cesna 172 aircraft crashed on landing at the Manassas Regional Airport on runway 16R34L.
No one was injured in the crash. That runway is closed until the aircraft can be cleared, according to Patty Prince, communications coordinator for the City of Manassas.
City of Manassas Fire & Rescue and Prince William County Fire & Rescue units have responded to the scene, Prince said.
