There was no school for students at the new Baldwin Elementary School in the city of Manassas VA today, Tuesday, January 10th, because of standing water in the building due to frozen pipes and no heat.
A clean-up crew is on site to remove the water.
Late this afternoon, the Manassas City school division announced that there will be no school for students, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 due to the remaining clean-up in the building from the presence of water.
The “Family Night” that was planned will be rescheduled. “We appreciate the flexibility and understanding of Baldwin parents as this matter is addressed,” said Al Radford, director of communications for Manassas City Schools.
