Narcotics Arrests

On July 7, 2012 during the early morning hours, officers were conducting extra patrol at Metz Middle School and discovered two subjects behind the school sitting on the loading dock. During this encounter officers discovered the subjects were in possession of marijuana. The following persons were arrested as a result: Jayon Hardy PORTER, 32, of 9950 Wellington Rd, Manassas, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and released on a summons.  Rebecca HAMILTON, 38, of 8010 Ashland Ave # 4, Manassas, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute on School Property.  She was taken before the magistrate and released on her own recognizance pending a court date of August 16, 2012.
