Residential Burglary – On May 17 at 6 PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Linden Park Apartments located in the 3600 block of Jurgensen Dr. in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. A resident of an apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 5:00PM and 5:33PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the apartment through the unsecured front door. An undisclosed amount of money and a firearm were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On May 15 at 7:20PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 15500 block of Traverser Ct. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. Upon arrival, officers observed damage to the rear glass door.
The investigation revealed that a gardening tool was used to damage the rear glass door in an attempt to gain entry into the home. While canvassing, officers were informed that three unknown black males were seen fleeing the rear of the residence just prior to police arriving at the home. No property was reported missing, and no entry was made into the home.
