Meet the authors at Bull Run Library

Meet the shining stars of the Northern Virginia literary community at a special book signing and sale on Saturday, May 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Bull Run Regional Library in Manassas.  The Fair will feature authors who have published books in a variety of genres:  fiction, non-fiction, biography, mystery, romance, and children’s books. The public is invited to the free event to meet the authors, purchase books and gather authors’ signatures. 

Among the authors taking part are:
• Gail Williams (writing as Vee Daniels), novelist and author of The Seeds of Graceton.
• Cynthia Cotten, who writes fiction and poetry for young people, including Rain Play and Some Babies Sleep;
• Patricia Daly-Lipe, author of an historical fiction series, including A Cruel Calm: Paris between the Wars, as well as memoirs and short stories;
• Debbie Frye and Tracy Mercier, authors of the biographical Our Father Who Aren’t in Heaven: a True Story of a Career Criminal;
• Melissa Helland, artist, poet, and author of children’s book, The Giggle Box;
• Marc Leepson, historian, journalist and author of Saving Monticello, Flag, and Lafayette:  Lessons in Leadership from the Idealist General;
• Claire Machosky, educator and author of A Path to Learning and Literacy;
• Sandra Parshall, mystery and suspense writer and author of The Heat of the Moon and Under the Dog Star; and
• Steve Shreve, children’s author and illustrator of The Adventures of Benny and Stan and the Toilet Monster.

No registration is required for this event in the Community Room of the Bull Run Regional Library, 8051 Ashton Avenue, Manassas.  For further information call 703-792-4530.
