Master Gardeners at Teaching Garden Saturday, June 1
Prince William Cooperative Extension invites county residents to bring dull garden tools to the Teaching Garden (on the grounds of the St. Benedictine Monastery at 9535 Linton Hall Rd, Bristow) this coming Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m.to noon.
According to a news release, Master Gardener Hank Spencer will be at the Teaching Garden to answer questions and demonstrate proper garden tool sharpening techniques. Registration is not required.
If you are looking for plants, the news release said that “Prince William Master Gardeners still have a selection of plants for sale.” Saturday is supposed to be a beautiful day to enjoy a leisurely walk around the garden, watch pollinators at work, and ask the Master Gardeners questions.
