Maryland man held without bond, charged with abduction, strangulation and domestic assault

Abduction | Strangulation | Domestic Related – On Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 at 8:23PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the Rimpal Inn located at 7399 Old Centreville Rd. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 25-year-old woman, was involved in a verbal altercation with an acquaintance, identified as the accused, when the accused threw her onto the bed and grabbed her throat. During the encounter, the accused also prevented the victim from leaving the room.

A witness intervened and the accused fled prior to police arriving at the hotel. The victim reported minor injuries. While police officers were investigating, the accused returned to the above location and was taken into custody without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Marlo SOSA BUSTILLO, was arrested.
