Students and staff are safe and have returned to class at Marshall Elementary School after being evacuated as the result of an unexplained electrical odor this morning, Sept. 27.
It was determined that dust on a motor was causing a burning smell.
The Fire Department has given the all-clear to end the precautionary evacuation. All normal activities resuming, according to Irene Cromer, Supervisor of Community Relations for Prince William County Public Schools.
