March 4 bank robbery suspect flees without any money

Bank Robbery – On March 4, 2024 at 12:32PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the United Bank located at 13870 Smoketown Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed an unknown man approached the counter and demanded money. The suspect had one of his hands in a bag where part of what was believed to be a firearm was observed. The suspect fled the bank on foot without taking money. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. A police K-9 and officers searched the area for the suspect who was not located.
Suspect Description:
A black male, between 35-40 years old, approximately 5’10”,
200 lbs., with a beard
Last seen wearing a fitted grey hat, a blue medical mask, a yellow safety-style vest with a grey North Face zip-up jacket underneath, a black t-shirt, dark-colored pants, and black sneakers

Shooting Investigation – On Monday, March 4 2024, at 5:28PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Aggressive Customs located at 905 Highams Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting.
The preliminary investigation revealed two men were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when one of the men shot the other. Responding officers provided aid to the 43-year-old injured man who was treated at an area hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the upper body.
The other party, identified as a 44-year-old man, was located inside the business, and detained without incident. The parties were known to one another. No additional injuries or property damage were reported. No charges have been obtained at this time as detectives continue their investigation into the incident to determine what led up to the shooting.

Armed Robbery – On March 5, 2024 at 5:16AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery that was reported to have occurred at the 7-Eleven located at 16170 Country Club Dr. in Dumfries (22025) at approximately 4:28AM. The investigation revealed an unknown man brandished a firearm towards the employee and demanded money and tobacco products. The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money and tobacco products. No shots were fired, and no injuries reported. The suspect was described as wearing a black ski-style mask and a black jacket
