Forcible Sodomy | Indecent Liberties with a Child – On April 19th at 10:10AM, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence in the 12900 block of Tonka Ct in Woodbridge (22193) on April 18th. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 5 year old girl, was sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, at his residence in the above area. Furthermore, detectives learned that the encounter had been recorded by the accused. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Renardo Lamont OFFORD Jr., 23, of 12948 Tonka Ct in Woodbridge
Charged with forcible sodomy, taking indecent liberties with a child, and manufacturing child pornography

Carnal Knowledge | Indecent Liberties with a Child – On April 20th at 4:45PM, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 15700 block of Widewater Dr in Dumfries (22025) on April 17th. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 13 year old female juvenile, was sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, while sitting in a vehicle in the above area. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On April 19th at 12:51AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7300 block of Castle Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic disturbance. The victim, a 44 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted and bit the victim to her leg. At one point, the accused grabbed a knife and charged towards the victim. Another occupant of the home was able to intervene to separate the two parties. Officers arrived at the home and were investigating the incident when the accused pushed an officer. Minor injuries were reported by the victim. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with attempted malicious wounding, assault & battery on a LEO, and domestic assault & battery

Strangulation | Assault & Battery – On April 20th at 2:50AM, officers responded to the IHOP located at 8300 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a fight. The victims, a 24 year old man of Manassas and a 26 year old man of Catlett, reported to police that they were standing in the parking lot with another friend when an unknown man approached them and starting assaulting one of the victims. At one point, the man struck the other victim and began to choke him leading to a struggle. The man also struck the victim’s vehicle multiple times before leaving the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported. Responding officers located the man, identified as the accused, in the parking lot where he was detained without further incident. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery, 1 count of strangulation, and 1 count of destruction of property

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On April 19th at 3:10PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Oak Crest Ct in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a domestic disturbance. The victim, a 13 year old male juvenile of Dumfries, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation the night before. The altercation escalated and, at multiple points during the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by his neck. At one point, the victim reportedly was unable to breathe. The victim also reported that the accused struck the victim to his head. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Correctional Officer – On April 19th at 9:00AM, officers responded to the Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate an assault on a staff member of the facility. The victim, a correctional officer, reported to police that she was escorting the accused back to her cell when she became combative and refused commands. During the altercation, the accused pushed and attempted to strike the officer. The accused was eventually detained without further incident. Following the investigation, the accused was charged.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On April 19th at 9:26PM, officers responded to the 19200 block of Fuller Heights Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a shots fired call. Multiple callers reported to police that several gunshots were heard in the parking lot of the Quantico Terrace Apartments. Officers arrived in the area and located shell casings in the parking lot. A witness reportedly saw the suspect flee in a vehicle. An officer located the vehicle traveling on northbound I-95 where the driver, identified as the accused, was subsequently stopped and detained. The investigation revealed that the accused was involved in an altercation with a known acquaintance at the apartment complex. The encounter escalated and, at one point, the accused pulled out a handgun and fired multiple rounds. No injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. At the time of the arrest, the accused was found to be in possession of cocaine.

Armed Robbery – On April 18th at 11:28AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 8000 block of Ashland Ave in Manassas (20109) on April 17th around 10:00PM. The victim, an 18 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet up with a known acquaintance in the area above to conduct a transaction. Once in the area, the victim got into the backseat of a vehicle occupied by the acquaintance and another unknown man. During the encounter, the acquaintance, seated in the front passenger seat, pulled out a handgun and robbed the victim of an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before getting out of the vehicle and fleeing on foot. The other suspect, the driver, is not believed to have been involved in the incident. No injuries were reported. This incident is not random. The investigation continues.
Residential Burglary – On April 20th at 7:34PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14200 block of Mount Pleasant Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM on April 14th and 7:00PM on April 20th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry in the home. No property was reported missing; however, a room within the residence was ransacked.
Residential Burglary – On April 19th at 4:34PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8700 block of Tarrytown Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM on April 11th and an unknown time on April 13th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecure window. An iPad, valued around $800, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On April 19th at 12:46AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3000 block of Cahill Ln in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she was inside her home when she heard her dog barking. When the homeowner looked outside, she observed an unknown suspect running through her backyard. Officers arrived and discovered a rear sliding glass door was open. No property was reported missing. The homeowner was unable to describe the intruder.
Residential Burglary – On April 18th at 9:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3600 block of Freemont Pl in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00PM and 4:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured door. Two gaming consoles, total value around $500, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On April 18th at 6:45PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Princedale Dr located in the Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM on April 12th and 6:00PM on April 18th. The investigation revealed that entry into the home was made through an unsecured garage door. Once inside the garage area, the suspect(s) pried opened an interior door. No property was reported missing; however, extensive water damage was discovered.
Commercial Burglary – On April 18th at 2:17PM, officers responded to Ben Lomond Park located at 7500 Ben Lomond Park Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:50PM on April 17th and 5:50AM on April 18th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into a fenced lot to the property. Two lawn mowers and other property, total value around $12,000, were reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On April 18th at 7:19AM, officers responded to The Outlet located at 10364 Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:15PM and 10:22PM on April 17th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a rear glass door which was broken out. A cash register with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On April 16th at 8:45AM, officers responded to the Parkland St Laundromat located at 8695 block of Parkland St in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:30PM on April 15th and 8:45AM on April 16th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a front glass door which was broken out. A MP3 player and watch, total value around $145, were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On April 1th at 6:56PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7800 block of Elsinore Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that between 9:00PM on April 16th and 6:00PM on April 17th, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the home through a rear door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
