Manassas Police seeks clues about missing man in 25-year cold case

The Manassas City Police Department reports that it is continuing to examine leads involving the April 16, 1988 disappearance of Jerry Plaster of Manassas.

Jerry Plaster was 25 years old when he was last seen near the Manassas Mall on Sudley Road.

Plaster had been dropped off at the mall by a friend who had been living with Plaster on the 9200 block of Brent Street in Manassas.

Recent information has lead police to seek help from the public in identifying a person described as a white male, in his late 20s, average build, with unkempt, sandy blonde, thin hair.  It is believed this subject was seen with Plaster on the day of his disappearance.

The case remains an unsolved cold case with Manassas City Police.
