The City of Manassas Police Department is investigating the shooting into an occupied dwelling that occurred on Nov. 14, 2016, according to Patty Prince, communications manager for the city government. After receiving a call for shots fired in the 9700 block of Aspen Place, Manassas City police officers officers found that a bullet had struck the window of a nearby dwelling as well as a vehicle in the area. No injuries were reported. It is believed that this is an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to the public.
