Harassing Phone Calls
On March 26, 2014 Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 8800 block of Fort Dr for a report of harassing phone calls.
The victim told officers that someone(s) impersonating an Internal Revenue Service employee called several times and demanded the victim’s personal information.
The victim was able to thwart the caller’s attempts to gather information by hanging up the phone.
